Dino Rocos, operations director, is responsible for the distribution and merchandising functions of John Lewis.
Dino joined the Partnership in 1976 as a Sales Assistant at Peter Jones. He subsequently managed the branch stockroom from 1981 to 1983 when he moved to Peter Jones carpet workroom with soft furnishings being added to his responsibilities in 1986. Dino became Distribution Manager at the Clearings distribution centre in 1998. During 1990 he acted as Assistant General Manager, Park Royal becoming Assistant to the Distribution Director later that year. In 1991 he was appointed Assistant General Manager (Operations) at Park Royal, moving to the role of General Manager in 1997 and Managing Director in 2001. He took up his present post in August 2010.
